About ISSA

The International Space Summit Africa (ISSA) is a premier global event bringing together key players in the space industry to explore advancements and showcase new opportunities in upstream and downstream space sectors.

From manufacturing and supply chain to space technology development, human exploration to innovative applications for space data, this event will bring together key industry stakeholders, government, R&D and academia who are driving advancements in the sector.

As the African space economy continues to go from strength to strength, ISSA will showcase how the sector is creating opportunities at every level, bridging public and private sector and communities to drive economic, scientific and technological growth, and in doing so improve life on Earth.

Aligned with the South African government’s 2030 vision for space development, this event underscores the importance of technology, science and innovation as a mechanism for socia-economic transformation. ISSA will be hosted by the South African Space Agency, and with the support of the South African National Conventions Bureau, and The Department of Tourism, ISSA supports national efforts to position South Africa as a leader in space and astronomy innovation.

Over three days of high-level conferences, workshops, business meetings and networking opportunities, ISSA will provide an invaluable platform for industry leaders, government agencies, and innovators to engage in high-value discussions and business matchmaking.
